"We will provide a school where all have something to strive for."
School Aims
- We will work to a system which is fair, open and focussed upon continuous improvements and the recognition of success.
- We will ensure that teaching and learning is of the greatest importance and that pupils develop the essential skills of literacy and numeracy.
- We will see that every pupil will receive his/her entitlement of the Foundation curriculum, National curriculum and equal access across the ‘whole curriculum’.
- We will ensure that the development of thinking skills and ICT skills will be a key focus for everyone within the school community.
- We will have clear school rules which children are encouraged to discuss and follow.
- We will develop children’s religious and moral values so that they will value themselves and their world.
- We will provide accurate information for parents about their children’s education and progress so that they too can contribute and new targets for learning can be jointly agreed and worked upon.
- We will manage resources efficiently and effectively so that pupils receive the best quality education that our school community can possibly provide.
